Derek looked so cute and peaceful when he was sleeping. He snored like a damn chainsaw though, oh my gosh! I got up and pulled the fuzzy blanket off of the old loveseat and laid it on top of him and kissed his cheek. As I was walking away the temperature dropped by a few degrees and the air began to stiffen.

“Derek” exclaimed Margaret. I opened my eyes only to find myself laying on the cold, damp ground. I looked around for my glasses, but they were nowhere to be found.
“Derek!” yelled Margaret even louder than the last time, “Where are you?!” I heard the worry in her voice, I’m sure I would have heard it even if I was a mile away. |
